BVM (USN) organizes A Panel Discussion on “An Attributes of An Effective Teacher”
The Eighth day of Summer Coterie - 2019 offered a plethora of activities for overall grooming of the children. The innovation journey of the tinkerers was in its full swing. BVMites honed their scientific and technical skills through various activities arranged in ATL and used their vacation time fruitfully. 
Students prepared for ‘ATL Fest Phase-2’ to be organized on 08-05-2019. They shaped their unique ideas into reality to solve community problems through their ecocentric approach, critical thinking, ideation and designing.  Bhartiyans’ contentment was visible, watching their ideas taking shape in the form of models like, Rain Water Purifier, Hydroelectricity Generator, Laser Door Security, Solar Umbrella Charger, Digital Solution to Safe Home, Fire Escape Chute, Food Safety to name a few. The students under the guidance of their teachers were constantly putting efforts to make their summer camp an activity based extravaganza. 
The principal, Mrs. Bandana Sethi leaves no stone unturned when it the questions of teachers’ growth. With this motive a Panel Discussion on “Attributes of An Effective Teacher” was organized in school in which the whole BVM faculty participated enthusiastically. While discussing various challenges faced in teaching these days, panelists highlighted various attributes like being subject experts, ability to develop a personal rapport with the learners, being patient, resilient, caring and kind, dedicated to teaching, flexible, a good manager & instructor,. A teacher should be able to cater social, emotional & educational needs of a child by being creative in his/her field. 
Panelists Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi, Mrs. Ranju Mangal, Mrs. Manisha Madaan,               Mrs. Jyoti Garg, Mrs. Manjula Sharma, Mrs. Seema Gupta, Mrs. Narinder Kaur, Mrs. Sheetal Sharma, Mrs. Kiran Bala projected various issues in present educators like lack of communication , creativity, knowledge thirst. On the whole, this discussion proved to be very fruitful for all the teachers.
